Degrees:

B.S. – Tarleton State University (Chemistry and Mathematics) , 2004

Ph.D. - Texas A&M University, 2009

Research Interests: Advanced Materials for Catalysis

Research Description:

My research focuses on the modification of ligand architectures of active olefin hydroarylation and methane oxidation catalysts to allow for attachment to solid supports.  In collaboration with the Lin group at Iowa State University and the Ames Lab, new materials are being developed to allow for selective and efficient transformations with increased activity and ease of catalyst/product separation as a part of the Center for Catalytic Hydrocarbon Functionalization (CCHF).
