Research Description:

My research is currently focused on the insertion of oxygen into the metal-carbon bonds of Pt and Rh hydrocarbyl systems, in collaboration with the Cundari Group from the University of North Texas.  This work is funded by the Center for Catalytic Hydrocarbon Functionalization.
